I got to admit, my complaints about the chat system in GW got a little bit better after the introduction of the ALLIANCE system, since now I can get in touch with a LOT more people and have a WHOLE LOT MORE of interesting and fun conversations while doing quests, also I can get more help on price checks or whatever, it almost made my LOCAL CHAT useless

BUT, a nice touch to it would be the ability to see who’s online and who’s not on the other guilds attached to the alliance. I find particular annoying to have to ask on the chat "Is XXX from XXX guild online?" My friends list is already full the way it is, and I simply cannot add anyone else (still it have a nice size, and raising the limit would not be a nice solution), and a simple way to see WHOS online on other guilds would make me take off at least 5 names from it (its the same I do with guild mates, since I can see their status on the Guild List I don’t have to add them to the friends one).

Anyway, just an idea of how we can improve the community system of the game a little more...

Yup. Posted before many times. In the future before you post, check the Index of Ideas and do a search. A search would have revealed threads like this one.
